Efficiencies
Shop by efficiency rating
MERV ratings run 1 to 16 under ASHRAE 52.2, and each step up captures a finer range of particles. HEPA and ULPA sit above the scale for critical environments. Higher is not automatically better — choose the highest rating your air handler can pull through. Where you see an A, as in MERV 13A, that is the rating the filter still holds after its electrostatic charge has worn off, so it is the one to compare on.
